Batch Order Management(Deprecated)
What is Batch Order Management?
This setting is for businesses that operate by accepting orders on specific dates and allowing customers to pick up their food on designated days. For example, a restaurant named "A" takes food orders until every Tuesday. Then, they cook on Wednesday and Thursday, allowing customers to pick up their orders on Friday. Orders are received through personal phone calls or via social media channels, which can be quite labor-intensive to manage. Therefore, it is possible to configure a pre-order system using order links to streamline the process.
Batch Order Management by navigating to the three bars located top corner > Batch Order Management.
Click on the writing icon located in the top right corner of the screen to start creating a batch period.
In the day-of-week table, you select the day(s) for food preparation. This, in turn, automatically configures the order acceptance and pickup times centered around that day.
The "weeks" setting determines the order acceptance frequency. For example, if you want to receive orders once a week, you would input "1," and if it's once every two weeks, you would input "2."
"Picking Expiration" is the setting that determines the period during which a customer who placed an order can pick it up after the cooking is completed. For instance, if the cooking is finished on Thursday and pickups are allowed on Friday, you can set it so that pickups are possible for the following seven days starting from that Friday.
